How do you guys think about this event? Team vanquish between corn vs all-star, infinite ammo with explosion. I try once, I think it's a balanced match.

Having opened all my chests and replenished my stock of coloured stars, I have now stopped using the Heavy Fire portal.Reflecting on the event, I found that the Corns seem to have had the upper hand in over half of the games I've played in.I think that the problem could be, as it was for me and maybe for others too, that I maxed out my Stock All-Star, who I use extensively in normal combat, and who is a short to medium range character, rather than maxing out either the Cricket, Hockey or Golf Ball All-star who are all mid to long range characters. Characters which I don't find particularly useful in normal day-to-day gaming. The corns, on the other hand, are all mid to long range characters, and the gardens tend to in most cases to suit their characteristics more than those of the All-Star I used. Any comments you might have would be gratefully received for a similar portal event in the future.

I agree, I think this is a very well balanced match up. However, from the title "Heavy Fire" I automatically assumed it was Citron Vs All Star, I was wrong.

While I'm pretty sure we all assumed this would be a matchup between Citron and All-Star, I'm honestly kind of glad it features Corn instead.Sure, half of the Plant Team is just made up of Party and Commando Corn users every game, but it would've been a lot worse with Iron Citrons running around on infinite ammo.Regardless, this event features a pretty good matchup. Both sides seem to equally win games. Jumped in 4 servers to see where my placement (being rank 34) would be and it rather feels haphazard. Games do not feel close to the skill level of all the players as I get sent to low level and high. Going to see how tomorrow fares, glad though it is not completely one-sided.

I haven't tried the portal yet, but initially, I foresee a spamming chaos of sprint-tackling and Imp punting with very little actual shooting on the Zombie side. But hopefully, I'm proved wrong.

Yeah, corn and all star are pretty even. This is one of the more balanced mystery portals. The only real thing that ruins it is the simply explodie crazy setting.

They might as well disable the primary weapon for this matchup, lol.

I haven't gone in yet, but if there are two characters that most players only use their abilities on, it's these two.

I just did a few matches. I find the odds highly dependent on map, as is frequently the case. Corns are pretty much unstoppable on frontline flats. Probably the same for time park if they can command the center.

Abilities might as well not have cool downs in this super mix mode. The corns have an advantage on longer range maps (coliseum, Frontline flats). Also simply explode mode ruins this portal as well lolz.

I just did a couple rounds with @bobburgers6 in the late afternoon, and it was a whole different ball game. SBM made it feel just like last week's turf lobbies. Yuck.
