Support for online-multiplayer split-screen.

Isn't that what Garden Ops is for? Can't you have anywhere between 1-4 players co-op online in that?

I was really bummed when i found this out. I don't see why they cant make this happen. If anything this will increase player involvement and strategy. Hopefully they acknowledge the disappointment from the lack of online co-op =[😞

Also, I think you can invite online friends on the open world map to co-op on that as well...

Co-op is different. Co-op is where each player has a console and game. Split-screen is where its 2 players on the same console playing the same game. Split-screen is not Co-op. I know you can play online co-op with your friends. My problem and many others is that we can't play online split-screen.

I want to be able to play split-screen online with my sister. That is why I hope they add it to the game. If a game like call of duty can do it and still look and run well, I know PVZGW2 should be able to do it. If we were to play co-op online she would need to buy a ps4, a playstation plus card, a tv, and her own copy of the game.

On the last live stream they had been asked about online co-op and they said they're always listening, so if that is something the community wants you never know it might happen.

When they announced splitscreen for all modes I was totally sure that this means online too. Now I read this post and I am confused. I already bought this game because I want to play this game with my girlfriend, bceuase she was so obsessed with the first one. 

So please put an online splitscreen functionality in this game. I want to play this game splitscreen live so bad 🙂

Considering this is a family friendly shooter, it would be nice if the parent and child can go online using splitscreen.  I'm pretty sure there are many out there fall into this category.  If I had a kid this would be a feature I'd be screaming for.

In my case, this Garden Warfare 1 is the only game that my wife likes to play since it's "cute" but every time I play with her splitscreen it has to be offline which is not as fun for me.  She is really looking forward to playing GW2 and so am I.  Just wish we can both go online at the same time and on the same console!!  Someone make this happen!!!

If it's too much for the console to handle, then drop the frame rate which is how COD handles this.  I'm sure we can all accept the performance hit for the functionality.

If CoD can do it and still feel nice and look great, I don't see why this can't.
