[Switch] PVZ BFN Lost All Progress After Game Crash

PVZ BFN Lost all progress after crash Please help!!!  (switch version)

Hello all, my kid says he has lost all his hard earned progress after his game crashed. I am trying to help him figure out what can we do to restore the progress, but no luck.

If someone knows what can be done , that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

@trexcraft2000 All progress for the game is linked to the EA account the game is tied to and not the actual console or saved data. With the Switch, there will only be a handful of ways to try and retrieve it if the game was indeed linked to an EA account.

With this title, there isn't a way for support to add progress back I am afraid, so it comes down to first making sure they are on the correct EA account. Secondly, go through all the steps you can to resync it.

If you are on the correct account, there are a few things you can do. The following article runs through most of those steps for the Switch:

Game Save Data is Missing or Cannot Be Read

What has worked for some players is to remove the game, remove that Nintendo ID, and head over to EA.com where you can log in with the EA profile and under connections, make sure the right Nintendo ID is linked that they play on.

Once you log back into the Switch and reinstall the game it can resync the data.

  • @trexcraft2000 I’m sorry to hear that you lost your progress in Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville (PVZ BFN) after a game crash. 😢

According to some web sources, this is a common issue that affects many players on the Nintendo Switch12. The good news is that there might be a way to fix it and restore your progress. 🙌

One possible solution is to remove the game, remove your Nintendo ID, and log in to your EA account on EA.com. There, you can check if your Nintendo ID is correctly linked to your EA account under connections. Then, you can reinstall the game on your Switch and see if your data is synced again1.

Another possible solution is to follow the steps in this article: [Game Save Data is Missing or Cannot Be Read]. This article explains how to troubleshoot and resolve issues with corrupted or missing save data on the Switch.

I hope this helps you get back to enjoying PVZ BFN
