Community Manager@trexcraft2000 All progress for the game is linked to the EA account the game is tied to and not the actual console or saved data. With the Switch, there will only be a handful of ways to try and retrieve it if the game was indeed linked to an EA account.
With this title, there isn't a way for support to add progress back I am afraid, so it comes down to first making sure they are on the correct EA account. Secondly, go through all the steps you can to resync it.

What has worked for some players is to remove the game, remove that Nintendo ID, and head over to EA.com where you can log in with the EA profile and under connections, make sure the right Nintendo ID is linked that they play on.
Once you log back into the Switch and reinstall the game it can resync the data.
