Absolutely not. If I am limited in play time and use that time to complete challenges... I'm not sitting in a game for the sake of balancing teams, and gaining no progress towards those challenges. Too many challenges require a specific character type to do something during PvP. Until they remove those types of challenges, the option to switch teams should always remain there.
What does it matter anyways? If players can't switch teams because the other team is full, they'll just leave and you'll be down another player anyways.

@AWMaxSterling I’ve played this series for years and have visibly been a part of this crap forum/easy to find in-game the entire time. Your laughable statistic about forums is condescending and I think the reply from many vets illustrates this point.
If you don’t see people switching teams to make lobbies unfair or ego stroke their buddies, you’re either the luckiest person on Earth or on another system? I’m on PS4.
In GW2 forums, you can find video after video of me switching teams and/or playing on heavily underpowered teams.
The challenges weren’t relevant to the TT throttling that became any public match in GW2 and thousands of screenshots I had of max rank players turning lobbies into 4-6 player advantages... etc.
Another thing - in GW2, Solo Play was 10x faster than PvP for completing challenges.
BfN is no different. The only people who want to keep Team Swap are those abusing it.

My stats were meant to be condescending. That was my point. Don't say 90% of people agree when majority of players don't even post here. It's bull crap, and a forum vet should know that.
I see people switch all the time on Xbox, but I don't let it chap my arse because the Garden Warfare series has always allowed it. It's nothing new. Some people abuse it, while others use it to get off a crappy team. If you're on a team that got stomped and nobody else tried for the objective, do you want to deal with that over and over again? Very few would. Some quit and wait for a new lobby, others switch teams. As I stated in a previous post, others just want to complete challenges. It's not my place to tell people what team they gotta be on. This isn't kindergarten anymore.
I was significantly more active in the original GW. My feedback from GW was rewarded with a free game code for GW2 on Xbox. I played the hell out of GW2 up until a few months after the huge Rose nerf, by that time I was so fed up with EA that I swore off any game of theirs. I only came back to see what they did with the latest game in the series and if anything was improved... that and I wasn't paying full game price.
GW2 was a different monster when it comes to challenges. Most challenges didn't have the PvP requirement tacked onto them, so challenges weren't an issue with completing in PvE... but some players like to mix things up and complete challenges while playing PvP. For me, it's a matter of how much time is available. I enjoy PvP, but if I got things to do... I'll complete challenges in PvE.The only thing that disabling team swapping will do is force players to quit out of the match instead of swapping teams.... and when they get tired of that, they'll stop playing.
There is never an easy fix to anything. No matter what is done, players will find a way to abuse anything...

- 6 years ago@AWMaxSterling All of those challenges can be completed in ops or other map areas. One doesn’t need to continually switch teams in online games to complete a quest. This is the same excuse people give when they say that they don’t play defense in turf takeover.
Gamers today can’t play games with out a ganking mentality. Why must one battle 4 on 1, where is the honor in outnumbering opponents? I would rather die a 100 times with dignity, then live once in shame.
Don’t take this personal, it’s more about the overall gaming experience today rather than anyone individually. 🤙
