I registered for the alpha build, the day it was announced, waiting to see if I get the formal invite to try it out.
I played GW2 for over 3 years now, since it was released, so what are the chances I'll be formally invited to try it out?

You’d think any forum regulars would be involved in any upcoming tests, regardless of platform.
Yourself, Iron Guard, Gormey, etc.... it would only make sense to invite people who endorse/support the game/community.
Just my 2 cents.

Even the CMs had to register just like we did.

I'm afraid we are powerless when it comes to inviting players. Everyone has to register for it, including ourselves.

I'm francophone and I don't interact much in the forum... simply because English isn't my first language... So I shouldn't participate in the close alpha because I'm a frog (Francophone Canadian)... I am Max ranked, I completed my stickerbook, and I continue to play... my experience in the game is way higher than the majority of people who will take part in the alpha. My writing and listening comprehension are pretty good actually... but when it is time to write it is a bit harder... Anyway I'm on PC... so I'm scr...d anyway...lol

If you were approved yesterday, check your email and you’ll have a code to redeem.
I also don't see anything active to join. And i didn't get any information about it either.

You would’ve had to register for the event before the 25th.
If you did register but you didn’t get approved after registering, you should see a Pending status that could still change to Approved, if I understand everything correctly.

Kept checking my email after being approved for all five days and I didn't receive a code. I was so psyched to play today but I guess it ain't gonna happen..
What is your platform? PS4 players received a code, but xBox players must download an app on their console.

My email arrive around 3:00 PM CST yesterday: Make sure to check junk mail, too.

I'm on PS4. Checked junkmail folder. Did it all... Nothing. ☹️

Well then i missed it. And with that goes my mild interest.
I played Apex too much this days, I missed registeration date line, I didn't get any email, so I'm tossed.
Good luck then, wish can participate, and contribute, but even Justin Wiebe got DENIED, so I should NOT CRY.
Seems like the selection for it is completely random, that's pretty weak.
To be expected though!
How do I delete my playtesting account now that I won't be needing it ever again?
Id hold on to it if I were you.... it is rumoured there will be more testing coming in the future ... this is just the first :D
Oddly enough I’m in the Alpha. However, my calendar is completely blank on the website.

There definitely will be more testing. The big question is what Popcap will do with it considering how awful the release of GW2 was, with some issues that are still in the game.
