BBQ corn and frozen citron? been playing for a few hours and haven't seen such problem. People are using iron citron and toxic brainz more than anything while nobody plays with the pirate or rose.
As for broken? well frozen citron was nerfed and i've never seen a problem with BBQ corn.
For the few hours i've been playing both plants and zombies are winning a equal amount of games so you are just playing with players that don't know how to play with zombies because they've been relying on the op/strong characters since this game has been out possibly because i'm not seeing the problem you are ranting about here. On ps4 btw
I too have been playing for a few hours and do not see this problem. Yes we are limited to the new heroes on this game mode so you are limited to fewer options. I see both plants and zombies winning games. You might have just got into a room with people that play those characters is all. I love the fact that you cannot just sit in the back and wait for your mech lol you have to actually be getting assists at least to keep from going BOOM that's great.

I will note that I have been persistently freezing while trying to play this mode. Solid. No countdown timer. Xbox One.
