I think something you failed to mention (or I may have missed) is just how different the feel of the characters are in terms of weapons and whatnot. It's really odd as this has a lot of the same people who worked on GW2 and stuff but I guess they couldn't get it to feel as good. BFN is great but this is one of the bigger things that I dislike about it. GW2 gunplay was so satisfying and fun. Some characters are fine, I'd say the sniper characters still feel great to play, but most of them are worse. Especially Rose. Her weapon is just not fun to shoot things with unlike GW2 so I don't play her much.

I remember around founders people talked about how much worse the overall gunplay felt in bfn and that the aiming was butter smooth in both garden warfare's.
In the comparison videos on the animations you notice just how much more detailed the gw crosshairs are with all stars being designed like a football, imp had an expanding box, and superbrainz had a jagged crosshair (same with chomper) for punching and abilities.
Rose was already meh in gw2 but they obliterated the class in bfn and made the homing useless outside of aiming at midrange.
Hated what they did to engineer and the healers.
