The big problems BFN is currently at
And for a good reason why.
BFN's tedious nature. That's what it is: Tedious nature. BFN is full of it. No matter what part of BFN you're in, all you can see is nothing but tediousness at every corner.
What you did with the upgrade "Leveling Up" has made the tedious level go up by ten-fold. I focus heavily on earning xp for my characters by using a guest player so I can level them up to the rank of master. But being restricted to Giddy Park and the very low reward from "Leveling Up" is making the process unacceptably tedious, and I cannot stand going through the pain.
And I certainly will not level up my characters to Grand Master because it's simply a waste of unnecessary work and time. The increase in level cap is NOT NEEDED. The original level cap of Master for all characters in BFN should be reinstated.
BUT...
I am willing to reconsider; it all depends on you [Popcap].
If you perform the following two changes [shown below] to BFN in the next update, you won't have to lose another loyal member of the PVZ family. The sooner it's implemented, the better.
Change 1: "Leveling Up" upgrade
Being restricted to just 10% more xp when equipped with the upgrade just doesn't seem right, when we really need to level up our characters quickly. It just makes the process of getting up to the rank of master very tedious.
For this, I'd like to see a change to the "Leveling Up" upgrade, where - instead of just two upgrade points for 10% extra xp, you expand upon it by making the xp increase smaller or larger, scalled by how many upgrade points we [the players] are prepared to spend to achieve it.
One upgrade point = 5% more xp
Two Upgrade points = 10% more xp
Three upgrade points = 25% more xp
Four upgrade points = 50% more xp
Five upgrade points = 100% (2x) more xp
Let's be honest, unless someone on the forums can think of a faster way to earn xp for any character, I have to rely on guest characters to help with earning xp.
Change 2: Solo/Private play on the multiplayer maps
In GW2, players had the freedom to select what multiplayer map they'd like to go in, selecting the team setup, the difficulty, and the type of game (Team Vanquish, Vanquish Confirmed, Turf Takeover etc.). It helped to vanquish as much boredom and tediousness with this feature. Currently, BFN does not have this feature.
For this, I seriously want for Solo/Private play to be implemented in BFN.
If all of this can be achieved, I might reconsider my opinion on the Grand Master rank, maybe even go on with continuing to promote my characters endless times.
