The chomper sprint burrow glitch

I believe since the start of the game the chompers sprint burrow has been very glitchy. When you burrow around 90% of the time you will be unable to eat the player you are underneath, I think this is because they are moving, this is not the case with the normal burrow as if the foe is moving you can still easily dig out and catch them. I also think it could do with a buff to get more people to use this ability, as it is unlocked not given from the start, also everyone uses the normal burrow, so more people could use and try out the sprint burrow, because right now it is a no-brainer on which one to use. The buff could be to increase the duration of the sprint burrow by 0.5-1 second.

Also I would like to request something, What is the point in using the chomp thing as the fire chomper has more health, deals more damage, and sets things on fire. I think the chomp thing get get a buff, like deal more direct more damage, have more range or have more health.
