I want to preface all this with the fact that even with problems I'm having a great time in BfN, I have over 2500 hours between GW 1 and 2 (mostly in GW2) and GW2 has been my main MP shooter since release, I don't even have Overwatch installed anymore.
The controls is the biggest part for me. The delay between using some abilities and when they actually activate is jarring and can really ruin a plan. It actually got me vanquished in a match this weekend as I went to activate arcane enigma to escape and it didn't activate in time so got nailed by a Super Brainz.
The difficulty in keeping a reticle on a moving target is another issue. The inconsistency of the speed of aiming is the main issue I encounter. A small movement of the mouse can be fine one time, the next time it takes 2x the movement or more, for the same amount of reticle travel. This makes tracking a moving target far more difficult than it should be.
The main issue I have with weapon damage is that some is very high (focused cactus or deadbeard crit does 98), but others are far lower. It makes certain classes feel less rewarding than I'm used to. The last patch did improve this, it's noticeable, but I feel it needs more work still.
All the snap movement abilities (rocket jump, anchor, cactus helicopter) feel janky. The foot soldier's rocket jump is better than pre-patch but can still feel jerky when used.
Most if not all of these issues relate directly back to the choppiness many are having, the uneven aim sensitivity (both mouse+kb and controller it appears), and general lag issues. Getting these fixed as well as the other performance issues (like the problems many PC users are having), are top priority to make the game feel and play better.

Couldn't agree more with all your feedback, thank you!
To anyone wondering what the devs actually said, here is the video, it starts at 54:10.
