@brady3176 Yes, sadly agree with all of this. I love GW1 & 2 and still play both. Well beyond max rank, bugs & all, I have FUN! For me, a true GW3 would've been perfect but BFN had more than enough creative talent & potential for me to have played it for this long, hoping for a game that I could still enjoy.
Months of feedback (not counting years in GW) & still no word about critical issues like team-swapping is a massive issue as far as I'm concerned & as for micro-transactions, well, you've said it!
I get that it costs money to produce a game, market, sell & continuously support and further develop it (I worked for years in the entertainment industry analysing revenues, royalties, costs & profit), but there are plenty of ways to do this without putting people under pressure, without impacting a game that you are supposed to enjoy.
As a sensible adult, I would not purchase ANYTHING that attempts to force me to do so. As a parent, I may well give in to a few requests of purchases if my child wanted it, but ONLY if I considered it good value for money.
This monetization has put off the adults who have been playing & supporting PvZ for years & the children who have been making purchases will soon enough move onto the next "in" game, or find that their parents' wallets have a lock on.
If the gameplay were perfect, I could stand not having all of the customisations, as long as I could earn through gameplay the majority & have fun doing so, but that is simply not the case.
PLEASE, look at the core concerns of the community & communicate any planned changes before even more of us quit than have done already.
And PLEASE, continue a little support to GW2 with events & packs, if you want a hope of the PvZ series continuing beyond whatever eventually becomes of BFN 😪

- 6 years ago@ToastedSarnie Definitely agree with all this. Its absolutely bizarre how... oblivious they seem to be to everything. From balance issues to concerns with the core game design... there hasn't really been... anything! To be honest this ignorance feels.. intentional, especially when it comes to the monetization.
Unfortunately for GW 2, I doubt it will ever get anything. I sort of thought maybe thats what was going to happen with the last GW 2 update... But the more I think about it that was probably just them seeing how the community responded to skins. Which, it was negatively and they still ended up going through with BFN. So... I dunno.. I can't imagine it would be so tasking to allow just a few guys to work on GW 2 when they want to... Or just forget about all of this and release the GW 3 everyone was dreaming of! Yes its as simple as that...- 6 years ago@brady3176 I know, it's such a shame 😪
