the camo cactus could 2 shot zombies with upgrades
@gglolm80 Camo can't 2 shot anything if he can't move from the spawn camping going on in this map.
I believe that the one sided feeling of the game is because the plants are still geared towards being defensive. For instance the cactus potato mines. Their purpose was to drop them to stop an invading force. They were very effective in PVZGW1. There are not now. The peashooter chili beans were very effective against the zombies crowded around the base. Now they are ineffective. They gave the new citron a defensive shield. Why not give them two powerful guns that can do some real damage?
One on One out in the open field, the Plants and Zombies are fairly even. However, in a defensive mode, the zombies win a lot.
So, the answer is to give the plants some offensive capabilities. Like the scientist, warp, kill, warp away.
