I love all of the plant redesigns (except Citron, but that’s nitpicky) and I ADORE the new zombies, since they can actually emote and come to unlife. The animations ebb and flow and make these characters look so natural yet cartoony at the same time. The colors and graphics are beautiful, and maps still look amazing despite their design flaws. The PvE bosses were incredible (Major Problem was the best boss fight in this entire franchise)
Even though we all have some problems with playing the game, we can all agree that it represents our beloved franchise beautifully, right?
Not so much for me.
Some graphics are stunning (leaves, butterflies, canyons, skylines, etc)... but I dislike the character designs vs GWs. I feel like GW1 should’ve hosted these “cartoony” character and would’ve preferred more realistic, grittier characters designs in BfN.
Loved the Boss hunts and many of the graphics involved but not a fan of how cartoonish the character sets was designed.
Also love that you’re trying to be positive.
You haven’t played since Picnic, have you? Guessing you’re new to the game but would love to be wrong.
Oh i’ve played since Picnic. I took part in the Picnic alpha and I was actually blown away by the new character designs. They really outdid themselves with them. I don’t believe that they’re taking a step in the wrong direction visually, but from a gameplay standpoint things could definitely be better.

Bravo (jaw-dropping slow clap). Wow. (Not being facetious). You’re way more understanding and patient than me. Granted, I made a similar post myself, several in fact, but that was months ago.
Thanks for trying to be positive!
