This game is dying 😭
I can’t believe it. This game is one of the best third person shooters I’ve ever played, yet the playerbase is a graveyard. Almost no one plays this game anymore. Please EA, give this game a free week...

I enjoy watching my son play but just can’t get into it myself. Gonna sound like an old gamer here, but there’s two many buttons and functions. This is why the Nintendo glove never took off.
Fornite, yes, many of my friends keep inviting me to play Fortnite, and I just ignore it because I don't like it.
Many enjoy the survival one, it's like team vanquish but doesn't get re-spawn. The last battle to survive is intense.
Maybe we can consider that game mode in next GW. But probably people will get bored since they can't do anything after vanquished.
The last thing this franchise needs is a free to play battle royale game mode. It's bad enough all the ways popcap try to get people to spend money on coins, without adding in $10 customizations that don't do anything. Fortnite is a bald faced cash grab.

Funny enough. My younger brother was the one that first got me into Garden Warfare 1. I enjoyed it. He stopped. Then he got me into Team Fortress 2. I enjoyed it while it lasted. He stopped and moved on.
Then Destiny, Overwatch, and as you mentioned, Fortnite came out. That's when I said "nope." It's entertaining to watch him play those games, but I simply didn't see myself enjoying them for one reason or another.
Zero players online? For an hour? Did you try switching to different game modes or let the matchmaking try to find a match for ten seconds before backing out?
I say this because the most I've ever gone without finding any players on the PS4 is four minutes. And that's when I was set on trying to find a match on garden ops. There's almost always one or a few lobbies active in Turf Takeover or Mixed Mode that I can join in seconds.
