Glad to see that I'm not the only one who understands how important it is to stop shooting the Gnome King when the reinforcements are called into play. I've been in several 2, 3 and 4 person teams where the other players had no clue about it and continued hammering at the Gnome King nonstop. You can get away with that sort of thing early on but eventually at the higher levels you wind up with an overwhelming number or reinforcements.
Just the other day I got stuck fighting 3 Giant Iron Citrons by myself after the other 3 players spawned all of the reinforcements and then got themselves killed off. It's hard to concentrate when you've got a 12 year old with a mic yelling how you're doomed rather than just sitting quietly waiting to respawn in the next wave.
