Tips n Tricks

I know that the majority of the discussion happens in general forum, but this isn't a place to complain about how, it's a place to learn how to. So being the strategy section, I am not sure how to do it in a way that works best for the readers(basically meaning that I know I ramble on alot, and I don't want to have to read through it again and again either) so I will say, this can become a place to leave tips if you wish, or more of my hoping...that it makes better players. So I had a few thoughts and probably will try my best for one topic or main point per post. Okay? Alrighty then....

So first thing I want to mention, is not anything mind blowing, and lots of people might be like, pssshhh whatever...but as the title of the thread says tips and tricks and that means everything and anything that can make it easier for all.
We all have them, and some of you may not even realize it, but I am talking about staples. Wow, hey? No for real.
For anyone who doesn't know, a staple is a card that is always in your deck if it is possible. They arent always exactly the same player to player, but I would have to say that hero to hero, they will be pretty similar.
Biggest thing is to realize that, and those cards are the ones that you might consider crafting to have the full set, or just hope you have luck with your pulls when you get packs.
Basically, for players starting out, or players that are free to play, I think that it's fair to say that if affordable, staples are worth it the moment you get one. A perfect example is the leprechaun imp. For myself, I crafted four within the week that it became craftable, and I have all four in any deck I play with a brainy hero.
The main reason I wanted to start with this, is for the amount of people that seem to want to complete a hero and then start again. But be careful with this way, as long as it only concerned crafting, and not recycling cards that may be useful for another hero because that is not a good way to do it, as it will take a really long time as the trade ratio is sadly 25%.
If you are collecting to finish a hero, I would have stipulations on the card totals. There are plenty of cards that if you want "all" the cards, one will suffice because you will never use it. This is from my perspective remember, but some of the high cost cards you really are good with a couple not four...
And then there's the staples. I'm not trying to get anyone to buy anything, that's your decision, as it is mine, all I want to get across to people that are still reading this, it is absolutely worth it to get a full set of a card that you will have in every deck it can be. Think on that, and when you can do, then go ahead and do, but you don't have to recycle anything unless you are 100% positive you will never use the card, or it will come back on you. I know this from experience

Some games you get into, and every little thing goes your way. And sometimes you build a deck, and have played it for long enough to know what it can do. And after making tweaks here and there, you are pretty confident in what you are trying to do...
Okay, while that in itself is a great accomplishment, the only way to know what your deck is capable of is to play and play, and play. And if you're lucky, you go through a couple losing streaks. Lucky because if you can fight through and figure out how to overcome, and overtake once again.
Because no matter what anyone thinks, there is always going to be a few games that you have to just chalk up to bad luck. Some of the time, the cards just seem to drop better for the other guy...and then that starts to become more regular, you need to figure out how to fix the problem.
Sometimes you just have to start again, but eventually you will have a deck that just needs a couple in and a couple out, and good to go.
Hopefully this is not too general, because it has to be a personal thing, I can't just hand a deck to someone and expect them to know how it works just by looking at it for a bit, and if anyone thinks that they can, nope I'm going to call bs on that...without playing you can't be certain of what is your decoys or order of play. Makes a big difference in a couple decks that I play.
If you find a deck that you enjoy playing, and can get comfortable playing, then you play it and try little things, and eventually those are some of the best decks of your bunch. Not only because they are decent, but knowing what you are capable of, you are able to make it flow.
And for those that don't know, when you do so, you will understand why I say flow

Next time I want to talk about sticking with game plans

I think that one of the hardest things to do, is staying with the gameplan, and the oddest part of that is usually it results in a victory. Not all the time, but often if we stick with the plan we will win, yet we are baited into trying to prevent something, that usually is inevitable anyhow.
Obviously there are times when you must defend, but unless you are playing to react, all you are accomplishing by defending is letting yourself be taken off your task, which is to be standing last.

    Evolution.
Something to keep in mind when you are playing with this ability, is you may as well exploit it...since that seems to be a four letter word or something like that...but seriously, it's good to have cards that have an ability upon coming into play. Using cheap versions of these work good in some situations, like kernelpult taking 1/1 away from a zombie and teamup, is a great choice for an elderberry.
Or chomper for four sun a 2/2 is meh, but with a built in whack a zombie it's nice...but next turn its still just a 2/2. Another good option for maybe bamboozle, since chomper is 4 sun, this is not an out of the question move by any means, and you get a 5/6 plant and 2 card draw for the evolution

Other things that are possible, and are a nice trick to have up your sleeve, even just for the know.
Jellybeans I really like, and I found that sometimes you find things out that you knew, but until it happens you don't really realize it...like playing a jellybean ontop of an admiral, the admiral does his 2 damage before evolving into bouncing something. Sometimes it is better to have something gone than the admiral, and a 5/5 jellybean
For that matter, if you play gatling pea on podfather, it still receives the 2/2 buff and now is 6/7 doing a bonus attack. That is a nice thing to have in your arsenal, and not everyone realizes that is the case, but like I said, it is common sense to the rules of the game, but in many cases, unless you experience it, it may never occur to you.
