Turf takeober only 3 maps :<

Turf Takeover is the most popular mode, but only 3 maps.

Many players probably lose interest right away.

I think this problem must be resolved immediately.

I need 6 maps.

  • There’s posts on this already (not saying that to condescend but rather validate your feelings).  

    Need more maps in all modes, not just Turf, and also MORE DIVERSITY.  Too many maps feel the same.

  • Devs should concentrate on makin TT maps, and then just take some parts and convert into other modes like DM or Ops or whatever other mode game had.... 

    Like we got only ONE new map since releaze and its just small annoying oozervoure, that im already can't stand this map in Ops. And i never tried that map in DM modes. And the problem is you can't make TT map from Oozervoire, devs has to make like 3 more same sized parts and make some finall challenge. 

    But yeah, that was talked before, and we have zero results... Oh wait, we have, TT ruined by 8v8 borefest, yeah thats a result.

    I would be fine with that, too (make TT maps that work for other modes) and in fact, prefer it (as it makes mode-switching more user friendly) so long as there is diversity in map design and no modes are left out.

  • Wouldn't an easy/quick/cheap solution be to re-release a map or two from GW1 or 2?

    Yes and we've requested this since Picnic (testing) as well.  (not to be rude.... just don't think they're willing to do it)

    @spIash_damage @themightylayman It took years of requesting wall-nut hills for Shaun and Justin to actually port it to gw2, and when they did, they restricted it to only gw1 characters, so no SB, deadbeard, or imp. But yeah, I would also like to see gw1/2 maps return, great white north and boney island were so much fun!
  • I think there's 4 maps but I agree with the sentiment. I think there should be at least 12 going forwards. Sounds a lot but is only two new maps a quarter for the next year... probably the minimum to keep the mode fresh.

    So much effort has gone into the core mechanics of this game. I actually think it's in a good place now (on PS4 at least). The devs have listened to a lot of feedback an adjusted things. Of course we all have things we want to be better and that is why we post here with our issues, but overall the game feels great for me now. Im not sure everyone agrees but that is my experience.

    So now the core is solid adding more maps should be priority along with minor balancing and removing team switching!
