Twitch Streaming on the PC

I have a strange issue. For some reason, when I am streaming PvZ, it shows that I am recording successfully, but twitch.tv shows me offline. I've tried this with OBS and AMD/raptr. I tried xSplit, but it doesn't like PvZ at all, or PvZ doesn't like it. The first two appear to work fine and with any other game, the streaming easily ends up on my twitch.tv channel. With PvZ, it streams, but doesn't make it to twitch. Any thoguhts on how to fix it?

  • I personally tried it with 2 different versions of OBS to test this out and see if I could figure it out for you. Been streaming for a while so I have pretty much encountered it all, especially with Twitch. Tried the one that includes AMD's new VCE and the latest OBS from the website. For some odd reason the one with AMD's VCE in it would show as live in Twitch, but the video never made it. On the latest available on the site, it worked with no issue. One thing I am doing differently to my other games is that I am using Monitor Capture instead of game.

I also tried it across my main account and my testing account with the same results across both applications. I have not tried Xsplit, but I did try it with the software used for my capture card as well. [AVerMedia RECentral for my LGP] It worked with that as well. Which version of OBS are you running if you don't mind my asking?
