@EA_Andy I wasn't expecting you guys to list every bug, just the main ones in general. Hit detection, gameplay crashes, infinity time crashes and Party Rose being unobtainable. Just how Justin Wiebe has the freedom to do so on his Twitter account. In those tweets alone I got a ton of confirmation that the game is indeed getting some of the main bugs addressed.
These are most definitely bugs and need to be squashed, Like I said you guys can handle it as you wish. It's your game after all. It's just ridiculous that one Twitter account gave me more info than an entire official source.
As long as you know silence is the worse thing you can do and keep us updated now and again with what's going on I'm happy. I'm not expecting a day by day account of what's happening, I just want to see you guys stay in touch with the passionate community more.
However if all this thread did was make you guys take note of how Party Rose is unable to be unlocked then it was worth it alone for that. Anyway Thank you for taking the time to respond, I appreciate it.
- Anonymous10 years agoI don't quite understand what's so difficult about clicking on New Post, typing in a subject line, and then typing a list of bugs that the team is working on.
With @EA_Andy having no knowledge of party rose being unobtainable, tells me that the players are not adequately able convey their issues on these forums.
The only reason I can come up with that explains why such a post doesn't exist, is because there's a lack of communication between the developers and the community managers, making such a post impossible.

For some of you, it isn't enough, but I think the devs have proven themselves after the year of our queen. Give them a break and let them do their jobs.
PopCap's Job was to create a budget in order to develop, test and release a working product to us, the consumer.
Our job is to invest in the product. If at any given time we feel that our purchase doesn't meet up to the required expectations (or isn't fit for purpose) then as far as i'm concerned we, the consumer have every right to complain about said investment.
So, with all due respects I don't fully understand why you have to take the moral high ground by insisting that those who choose to air their disappointment should refrain from doing so and "give them a break". Cynically speaking, all the devs have "proven themselves" with is, not unlike a great deal of other developers in today's industry, that they too can take advantage of the "sold as is" section that seems to firmly implanted within the terms and conditions of pretty much every single piece of software that is sold nowadays. A section which very conveniently removes pretty much all OUR consumer rights regarding the product.
I'm sorry but for these reasons alone is see no grounds for giving anyone a break.

I have a very large list of bugs that threaten the performance of the game though I have zero access to a way to deliver it to them directly meaning most of them are probably going to linger. I find it strange that I find @EA_Andy on a few posts in the same section as the one with many Party Rose posts yet he is not informed of it despite one being a "hot thread" right now.
I spend myself on this forum trying to help others as it seems nobody else is able to or is just plain unwilling to. This is what I find irritating. I just want to know if my presence here is actually worth it. Sure, I can help around two or three people a day to understand glitches such as the "Wave 8" glitch though I am sure many thousands beyond contact are experiencing the same thing, suffering without any form of way for me to help.
I have actually given up on these forums lately because it seems all we talk about is Hit Detection, Party Rose and all the modes that keep breaking on us to no avail. We get no confirmation that these things are being worked while we are actively trying to report them over and over and over....well you get the picture. I come here 2 times a day now instead of checking constantly when the game first came out.

@EA_Andy Its actually good to see you on these forums a bit more, particularly in this thread. I think people really appreciate seeing you guys here. I know the more you guys comment and get involved, the more you leave yourself open. Community managers tend to take a bit of a hammering, such is the nature of the job I spose. I think people just want to know that they are being heard. I'm actually pretty impressed with people commenting on this thread, good to see the community standing up for itself.
I, like a couple of others have said of themselves, don't come here much nowadays. For me it's mainly because the threads and topics are being recycled constantly, ie. they are generally on the same 2-3 topics. Its a shame that really good threads are being pushed down the list. Once something gets pushed off page 1 then thats it, goodbye conversation.
Dont mean to sound harsh but even a causal observer of these forums would be well versed in the Party Rose saga.
Must admit I've never been a huge fan of EA, but I do think you guys are trying hard and trying to turn your game around. And of course you guys are the publishers of the most exciting up and coming game - Mass Effect 4, so I really dont mind if you polish your community management skills here and now, so that all that is out of the way for the main event.
Edit: Sorry I dont know how to do that @ thingy or make it blue

That's kind of my point. We can clearly see the multiple threads on here of the issues with this game. I usually only click on the threads that involve issues because I have them, too, so I put in my input as well. Earlier today, I saw a post of someone asking a simple question that had an obvious answer. (Had something to do with someone playing with a friend on PC while hes's on console, which the answer is, obviously, you can't.)Low and behold, one of the EA Community Managers had answered on that thread very quickly. I find it hard to believe that someone answered that question, that quickly, but has failed to read the numerous posts about the actual problems with this game. It feels like we're all talking to the same brick wall, while we can hear each other's problems on one side, and the people that can fix it are on the other side. As soon as I ask a dumb question, like "how do I buy a sticker pack?", I will get a response. I feel like I've wasted my time to be honest.
Imagine if we all stayed silent, said nothing, endured all these bugs and crashes. Would the devs ever fix anything?
We are here and should be acknowledged and if every issue was addressed and put into a section controlled and modded by developers then the same repetitive threads wouldn't pop up. I'm then spending my time responding to the same threads whilst the ones I've made are being spammed onto pages 4, 5 and 6 or wherever the heck they are now.
Then, I see the same threads by people who don't even know how to use the search feature and I see the same threads created that I've created being made. The game is a joke in its current state, they haven't taken these issues serious enough to even warrant an official response to the bugs in it. They don't even know of their own issues, every game developer should be stomping out these themselves, and shouldn't rely on players to do their jobs for them. I think EA have ruined PopCap to be honest, probably forced them to rush their game and they all look wrecked in their videos, it's just a business project to you guys and one that has failed to most of us because we have had enough of the bugs and crashes.
Even when they patched it last time there were no posts regarding bugs that were fixed and most of it had to go and test to see if they're all still there only to find they are, and more. That is counter productive to me, and so is this post.
I am more annoyed of the fact people are reporting all these bugs, issues and balancing issues and then leaving. That's what will happen in any game where there are no developers acknowledging them, there will only be a handful left at this rate.

Job...?
I think your expectations of POPCAP and its devs are misplaced just because you paid for a game.

Yeah it does feel like feedback/suggestions do get ignored sometimes, like with my list of suggestions thread for the Ops games....don't think it got any attention at all. :c
