This is in response to seeing what I heard at the end of the recent 'Live from Popcap' stream and what I've seen being talked about in the forums.

My position is you earn it the way everyone has and is doing so now.
The standard is that you max your rank under the regard as the players before you did when they were was no UniChomper.
Please go back to GW1 and max your rank so you can have a UniChomper too.
See I don't see what the problem is if they work for it in GW2 if you work for it shouldn't matter what game you do it on.
Why are we still even talking about this??? Are people really just going to keep nagging Popcap about this until they cave? I really wish they would just come out and say they're keeping it the way it is, so people could move on with the rest of their lives!

Because the players who maxed their rank before the UniChomper were not WORKING for anything. Therefore, you cannot WORK for it in GW2.
You do realize that maxing out in GW1 takes a lot less time than maxing out in GW2. Look how many players have maxed their rank in GW1 since the UniChomper was revealed. I don't know what your GW2 rank is, but every month there will be more and more UniChomper's running around while you tirelessly rank up in GW2.
If you don't have all the legendary/party characters unlocked, you can't event think about it. Think about how many coins some players have spent and have yet to unlock one last piece or two for those characters. The UniChomper is telling you to back to GW1 and get him so he can play with you. Are you ready?

@IronCatFish47 That's what really gets me, all these people demanding Uni, and you know most of them haven't even gotten every character in GW2 yet. Let alone leveled them all up. If you are THAT dedicated to obtaining the max level, then you will easily be able to do everything in GW2, and then go back to finish ranking up in GW1 before the clock runs out.
The hubris of the "Don't allow gw2 players to get the unicorn chomper" is astounding. Fling insults out calling people , lazy , spoiled , not worthy , threaten to not buy popcap products and yet failing to realize they're acting like the very thing they're accusing everyone else of being.
I can see open minded debating will not prevail here so I'll take my leave hopefully in a couple of months the community will have matured beyond this. Hey I can dream can't I?😛
I agree with the fact that ''Don't allow gw2 players to get the unicorn chomper'' that these people are throwing around is ridiculous , what makes GW1 players so special , its not called a GW1 reward , its called loyalty reward , if you can prove you have loyalty by doing challenges in GW2 why not?

I didn't even know this was a thing, a loyalty reward? Jesus christ, the amount of time and effort it'll take to get the max rank of 313 in GW. I don't even know why would they want people playing the old game and ranking themselves up that high. What level is that anyway per plant/zombie? I myself am rank 57 in GW. It'll take me a long time to get to 313!
I love the game and I'm loyal to it, but really? Folks have to be max rank? But seriously how many hours do you think it'll take me to go from 57 to 313? How many days and weeks is that? Did they even look at the stats to see how many folks were at max rank? Because when I stop playing there was a rare handful.
Yes , the time and effort it takes is alot , but people have done it , and they did it. It is only fair that if people who only have GW2 that wants that character need to put in the same dedication/ effort / time consumed. However it is those players that refuses new players an alternate way to get it , who only have GW2 to BUY GW1 and LEVEL IT from rank 1 to 313 are those i feel are the problem.
It only took me 6 weeks to reach 313. If you guys can't do it, then it must mean you guys aren't very good at vanquishing. Plus, they make it so easy with the skip challenges and you should only buy 20,000 coins packs.
