I think in all fairness, there are different levels to the generic word "devs" that we use.
Those who designed & created the game (to me) have shown love & pride in their work with amazing levels of thought & detail in design features of the hub world, maps, characters and ingenuity in quests - for example Olds Kool & the gnome challenges. To them I say thank you. I suspect those people have a very different vision for the game & would want to continue to improve things.
Then, though, there's the level in charge of the purse-strings, who make the decisions about how much further development can be funded; who need the game to be commercially viable in a competitive marketplace & it's really to them that I appeal.
A happy playerbase who stay loyal to the game will thrive & expand - and surely in the long run that will reap greater rewards??

@ToastedSarnie You are absolutely right. I often thought about posting an appreciation thread to all of the artists, writers, and designers. I'm just so frustrated with the lack of awareness and communication on key issues that I never get around to do it. I will rectify that shortly!
