[Updated 03/09] PC - GW/GW2 Not Working After Update

I got the patch and ran the game as usual,. my PC asked me if I wanted to give EA Anticheat permission, and I said yes, so the splash screen comes up and then goes away, but the game never starts.It ...

Due to this new anti-cheat for PC GW2 
My performance has been awful when playing GW2 and I might add that my computer overheated while playing GW2 due to the new anti-cheat and its problem with performance

And my Computer would never overheat prior to the anti-cheat update
