Citron is a mixed bag for me in BfN. I actually like the new weapon as beams are fun but too easy to use due to their nature, and often abused in GW2, even after the drop off changes, the shield is too good, and Spin Dash is a bit too good as well, but most of these can be fixed with some simple number tweaking.
Freshly Squeezed: It's a bit odd to me since you need to vanquish to use it and it only lasts 5 seconds, but the speed boost only applies to sprint. This comes off to me as used for hit and run tactics, instead of tanking which feels off as BfN's Citron is definitely meant to tank for the team.
Quenching Cover: Use this one on at least one build. Blast through most of your ammo, put this up, get that ammo back, and then shoot when full on ammo again. Very useful if you time things well, as reloading is always a pain, and makes you unable to retaliate.
Kinetic Energy: Can work very well with quenching cover. Swap between blocking damage to reload, and shooting to recharge the shield. The shield is already very good, likely too good, so getting it back even faster is nuts.
Peel Out: Moving faster while your shield is up is great and I like this one a lot as I play mostly TT mode, and a Citron near a capture point with this can rapidly adjust positioning while remaining protected.
Peachy: EMPeach is already powerful, but then you also make your shield more powerful too by letting you recharge it faster? This one is very powerful.
Peached: Thankfully, the bonus stun is only for direct hits, so you can't go crazy with this thing.
Emergency Exit: At one point it's alright. While extra speed is almost always good, it's a minor and specific increase so it wouldn't be worth it if it cost more.
Bowling: Obviously huge with large numbers of closely-packed zombies, so most useful in PvE situations. Also good for objective based modes as players have to group together to secure/defend them. Spin Dash is very powerful in BfN and can wreak havoc against Imps and lower level summonables.
Juiced & Pulp Powered: Remember this combo in Founders? It was insanely good, especially on a character that is supposed to be a tank. Combining the wider beam that always crits and using it longer with crits meant you could single-handedly (single-petally?) clear an entire zombie team off a capture point! It got a needed nerf, but they went a little too far with that and you don't see this ability much in PvP after that. I do have a build with both together but use it only in PvE these days.
