Urgent: Sap-Fling really worth it?

I do not really know what to do... i have 825, And the new plant looks good: ''Sap Fling'' , the problem is, i don't have the 2 Heroes with 10x this week: NightCap and Neptuna...is really hard get this plant with 5x boots. I have 2 options, spend the gems buying one hero (750 pack) or leave it and buy 1000 packs, I've been saving to open one, but I hoped to have better luck with the heroes 10x.  What would you do?

    Personally, I'm working on unlocking all the heroes first, so that I'll always have access to 10x on both sides.  Then I can worry about saving up for packs.  However, I'm also somewhat of a collector who wants to get all the heroes anyway, so if you don't care about the heroes of the week, this may not apply to you.

    i dont like chance of heroes in packs, so i always prioritize to buy heroes IF i dont have 10x heroes for this week. Outside that condition, i will buy 10packs deal

    I will also suggest you spend your gems on either packs or new heroes.

    You can craft the event cards later if you really want to.

    (PLUS, you can play as usual with your 5x tickets heroes and get 1 or 2 Sap-Flings).

    Get one of the Heroes.  Nightcap and Neptuna are both strong Heroes in my experience.  I like Neptuna because you can put together an all gravestone deck, so it makes the opponent have to guess your moves.  Nightcap for shrooms with fast aggro decks.  Neither hero needs uber cards.  Regular common cards can hold up decently in matches.

    Thanks a lot guys! jj48car, zdarcon, Azombioso, BPRDHB. I decided to buy Nightcap Hero Pack, and get sap-fling... I'm going to get all heroes plants first (later zombies...) , so do not have this problem anymore... I will have to wait a little longer to have good cards , but that is the best for now, according the advices. I choose Nightcap because I have better plants cards and strategies than Zombies, I don't want to complicate me right now with Neptuna.
