Ok … well, I don't find it a rubbish idea (as you only need 115 bulbs for the Corn legendary upgrade if taking the shortest route), but I can see people not being happy with this, especially those collectors (like me); if the developers are going to go through with this idea, perhaps don't this in March as well? Just a consideration!
That's the kind of crap that turns me away from games. I barely even have the time to complete these maps, especially since they stopped giving us 30 bulbs halfway thru. Even unlocking all four character a 2nd time helped tremendously that one time they did it... but I can't wrap my head around how some of you end up with 50 extra bulbs after completing a map. If they don't make prize bulbs much easier to collect. It's one less game I'll be playing daily... and one less franchise I'll purchase games from again.
Get good at BA. More Bulbs than I know what to do. Really. I expect to finish the next map in less than one week.
@spIash_damageWhat's the bonus amount of XP you get in BA? Didn't Popcap add some kind of multplier?

You’d have to ask @dwooten77 about the XP. I know you get 200 xp PER round played (rounds are typically quick) and I think an additional 500 xp for winning the match. Each boast is 100xp and when you get on a role with character selection/don’t die for whatever reason, kill streak bonuses carry on from round to round until the end of the match. I just noticed this part last night so not sure of the bonuses but on a 9 streak, I saw +175xp 9 streak bonus .....?
I maxed out the last map within 3 days of playing but didn’t play BA the entire month. I still don’t know the exacts and could be off a bit on my numbers but the amount of Bulbs I collect daily is INSANE.

@spIash_damage I'll try playing on Battle Arena again, but I might have to change my region! Hoping ranked battle arena in March will fill up lobbies! 🙂
1 ops game = 95%-100% of price bulb, depend how good killing machine you are.
So 3-4 games = 3 bulbs. 1 ops game is 10-15 minutes. + 2 day challenges.
5 bulbs per day in one hour, thats how ive been grinding whole this time. And that how im still gonna do. TT is dead for me. Weekly characters challenges also can be done in ops in one-two games.
Right now i have 50 bulbs, but because of increased amound its nothing((
@spIash_damage just started playing BA a lot more in the past week- always seemed intimidating to me because I thought it's where all the hardcore players are, and although that is true in some matches, I really enjoyed working together as a small team and being characters that would complement who my allies are. This is the kind of gameplay that I feel has always been missing in the game 🙂

Seek these scenarios out among all others. Get in there and don’t be afraid to get your butt kicked or taunted. Eventually, you’ll get a frag here or there and learn tricks (from upgrade kits to countering moves, etc) and the frags will build. In time, you’ll be one of the hardcore players yourself, if that’s your desire.
Nevermind the bad connections and abilities misfiring (not registering). Some days, connections are TRASH and the others, fairly decent. In any case, the only way to truly get better is to surround yourself with competition you consider superior.
Just my perspective. GLAD you’re giving BA a go; it’s great fun and XP is amazing.
EDIT: I played a full match last night and got ZERO frags. Teams were stacked but that’s still no excuse to not get at least one kill. Connection was HORRIBLE - I counted 9-10 headshots in 2-3 matches that didn’t register damage. Point being, who cares what others think of your skill set; so long as you can keep from getting angry, you’ll eventually learn to use all experiences to become a better player.

yes, I felt a bit intimidated just like you and while I have only played it a couple of times for a few games I had a lot more fun than I expected.... and I didn't do as bad as I thought I would.
Maybe I was just have been lucky though 😃
Hopefully me, my bf and @ippig will get some more games soon 😃 and have lots of fun.
