Basically what the title says. When you turn off voice chat in the options and you attempt to speak through a headset, it still shows yourself speaking (IE: your username pops up on screen with a little speaker icon). Unfortunately I cannot confirm if anyone hears me though as no one responds.
Having this issue here on PC. The little icon pops up showing as if I'm using my mic which has me in a paranoia when it does.
Don't know if anyone hears me, but I'd rather hope not for their sake.
This happens to me too in late October on PC.
I have disabled my microphone ingame, yet it activates itself all the time, even when my microphone itself is muted in RL.
I also hear other people ingame what should not happen since I muted the ingame voice chat completely.
I really hope they fix this bug very soon. It makes me either go paranoid because people might actually hear me talking to my friends on Discord (when they shouldn't) or it annoys the hell out of me because I hate hearing random kids screaming with their siblings or TVs on max volume.

same, as of 11/1/19 my microphone also does this and my problems are that my neighborhood is loud as heck with cars honking, people moving or family just being so loud, it turns on even my mic is disabled in devices, in origin too, with no voice set on, the speaker icon still pops up. I don't want to bother anyone with my background. I checked my other games and they don't do this at all just this game.
Community AdminThanks for the posts. I habitally disconnect my mics when I'm not gaming with friends, so for now that may be an option for now, but I know that's not a viable workaround for everyone.
