Just making it harder for the F2P players. Frustrating!

With new season coming up, its a handycap for all. Just a greedy move from EA i think. Things were fine with 10 gems per video even with the anoying "oops" error thing that made everyone loose time watching videos and geting no gems. Now 5 gems plus error? Too much i think.

I don't know what they are thinking, 5 gems per ad? They also get money from ads, right? I will not pay for anything ultil they give back what they took from us

The other thing that that frustrates me a little is the "giving you something for free" response. EA gets money for you watching adds. I'm spending time watching them, even downloaded a game or two from them. EA is still making money. I'm sure this little expirement of there's will show them if people are now spending money or watching ads more or less than before and will go from there. The thing is it rings hollow to me. You should absolutely make money from your games. I haven't spendt a ton, $20 which is more than I've spent on an iPad game maybe ever, but I have watched a ton of adds which generate income form them as well. No one likes to be nickel and dimed.

EA is obviously a big machine. The admins here appear to have nothing to do with the actual game. This board is clearly for fans of the game to share their experiences with each other not truly an avenue to the developers. I know the message here is that the admins "pass things along" but let's be real, how often does that truly happen? No knocks on anyone. It is what it is and everyone has a job to do. We all obviously love the game or wouldn't be here. It would be nice to have some direct dev involvement so you don't feel like your concerns or comments are falling on def ears. I'm betting that when a company is acquired by EA that direct contact is restricted in order to convey a consistent message across all its platforms. Big business.

Me too, after reach ultimate nothing we can do.. Just wait season 2 for long long time... And when we ask about season 2, no answer..

I think the solutionn is spend your "real money" $$$$, thats what delevoper want.. No free again, just free trial for first time.. But pay for win its not my type..

Yeah, EA wants us just to spend money i guess. 5 gems per video its a bad joke for everyone who got to ultimate, they are making the "late game" so boring with no point of keep playing ranked matches since theres no prize for it, and now this 5 gem thing, sadly im not feeling too atracted to this game anymore since im not the kind of guy who pays for a game.

I don't have a problem with spending money for games I like but like the removal of the 5000 gem pack, I feel this isn't a good change for newer players. For those of us that have been around for a while this really doesn't mayptter much. For the newbies this just handicaps them more.

5 gems per video? For me it's even worse, I haven't got a video offer for more then a week. Not even ONE video! So I can get gems only from quests. And that is almost nothing. :/

If they wanted to reduce the amount of free gems they should have reduce the amount of ads per day not gems.

Popcap is maybe doing all the wrong moves, i have seen a lot of complains about the new challenge thing, the non giving gems when someone watch ads issue, now this.

The card collection already changed, there are more rares now wich make al super rares and legendaries harder to get, now theres less gems to get too, new season comming up and less gems to get. I think they want all the ultimate league players to just become P2W, and i dont think thats going to happend.

Hopefully they can hear us and undo the 5 gems per ad thing.
