weekly challenge don’t do it & maybe get rainbow stars

In the patch notes it says Updated the last Weekly Challenges so they now give Rainbow Stars instead of coins so does this mean it’s best not to do the weekly challenge as after the update we wil...

@spIash_damage  I tried it with citron and woohoo managed to pick up a crystal dog.... but it ran out before I killed anybody ... then I died.
Will keep trying when I can cope with the stress 😃

@asabaida I can offer some help on PC if you like. However failing together is more fun.

    Maybe we can change that last challenge to "win 100 matches". I'm gonna have that done before the actual 3rd challenge.

    @TLEsquire Ugh! I wonder whether we could actually try supporting each other (or failing together!) or if the lag for one of us would be too unbearable??? And what's the time difference, 10 hours roughly? It's 19:45 here in the UK

    @ToastedSarnie I definitely feel like we can work out a time. Sorry it took so long to see your message I'm just wrapping up our T-Day dinner. But take your game break if you need to. I'm feeling ready to take a day or two myself. Maybe this weekend?

    @TLEsquire Don't apologise! I hope you had a good one! Yes, am mainly staying in GW2 for a day or two for the sake of my sanity, though I have popped in & had a go at the weekly tonight, mainly to see if playing around with my aim assist & sensitivity helps a bit. Have managed to do the first two but that 3rd is evil & my teams tonight have been non-revivers! Will have to see how things go for us both, but yes, weekend could be a great opportunity, thank you if we're both still stuck! 😂👍

    @asabaidaI usually play on Europe. Yesterday night I tried to complete the challenge but have been stuck on the third one due to unbalanced teams.
    But it is possible I think if the matches are full. First I thought I have to vanquish three opponents within one Crystal Dog period but I just have to stay alive. Three vanquishes with the buff in one match should work if I am able not to die.

    @ippig As long as the other team don't hide, which was a tactic I tried last night whenever the opposition got it! 😆

    @ippig 😂 I haven't done the 3rd yet, but just in case it remotely helps anyone, I did have the Rocky Flats?? (Mount Steep map, part where Ops is) twice & noticed that 90% of the time, the crystal dog appeared either on the bridge behind Ops, or close to either end of it. With the one good team I had (who unfortunately all left at the end), we staked out the bridge together & got the dog nearly every time.
    I don't know if anyone's noticed any similar spawn location patterns on any other maps???

    @ToastedSarnie Spawn locations would help loads I haven’t had hold of that dam dog once.

    Be mindful of when someone’s timer runs out and you’ll know to start watching for the little icon/dog indicator that shows where the upcoming spawn will be.  I don’t engage anyone when I’m sprinting toward the dogs.

    I can pick up or almost pick up 50-60% of dogs by really paying attention to upcoming spawns indicators.

    Forgive me, if this is all common sense; just trying to help. 😊👍

    @Meadoz Ok, so have had another couple of tries. Still haven't managed to complete quest, but basically from what I've seen, staking out the Ops area is the best bet.
    As I said on Rocky Flats it spawned on the bridge mainly, behind the Ops area. In Colossal Fossil it was spawned in the square where the Gardenator/Graveinator is & on Daisy Drive it spawned on the road bridge where Ops is. Hope it helps people a little - if we could now just rig the teams, we'd all be laughing!! 😂
