Nothing you can do bud. At best, you could have briar rose and then put a mayflower in front of the fossilhead. But I feel you...personally, I don't like those style decks, its the same with anything that is a little more than it should be, and all the guys who are the type that winning is the only thing, they will weed out the culprit card, and a change will be made, then a bunch of guys that found a "unbeatable" deck on reddit or something, will be chapped because their winning deck is no longer, and they aren't creative enough to make a good one for themselves....
