Maybe a cloud map that takes place in the sky. Definitely an island themed map (Pirate treasure!) with palm trees, and a bunch of smaller islands that surround a bigger one.
They should also think about doing character specific maps. Like a Soldier map, Citron map, Rose Map, Super Hero map.

Sorry for double post, but I just read that after my other reply and that's an awesome idea too. I'm imagining a map based on the Superhero that takes place in a big city, but it's actually a movie set, with lighting rigs and fake buildings, and maybe at the last stage the Zombies have to beat the giant Citron from Infinity Time!
Edit: Also, now that I think of it, a Gnomiverse map could be interesting...
A Sprawling grime coloured endless metropolis of dimly lit unwelcoming streets containing dilapidated, derelict houses and sticker shops on every corner.
A place where soulless multicultural zombies adorning hoodies and jogging bottoms roam aimlessly down pathways, some pushing zombie prams containing zombie babies (all called Britney or Kylie) and some hiding down dark alleyways quietly waiting to jump out on unsuspecting plants and steal their upgrades.

I would like a Gnomiverse map but the problem is would it be G&G or HA? It doesn't seem like it would fit the plants or the zombies but eh it would be amazing.

Maybe better for one of the smaller maps then...
On that note, I'd also like to see more Day & Night versions of maps. Of course, it won't work for all of them (Moon Base Z/Lunar Landing, Zomburbia) but that's no reason not to do it for the others.
I think a gnomeinverse map should wait till GW3 because maybe in GW3 maybe it will be all gnomes and the plants and zombies will have to work together, but I'm going ahead of myself aren't I...
