When playing against The AI

Can you please fix the bugs when playing against AIs. I can’t find anything more frustrating then when I see a computer do things that a normal player could not. For example, reducing the snap dragon’s attack to 1, but then it still attacks for three on all other lanes. Or having an Astrocado hit you for the full 5 even though you have a planetary gladiator on the field with full health. Also, is it possible to increase the speed on the AIs turn, I feel like sometimes I can sit for a full minute before they finish their turn. Thank you, love the game otherwise.

  • Hi.

Something like that happened to me a while ago, what happens is that ''Splash Damage'' and ''Attacks here and next door'' are different and separate things.

Snap Dragon has 3 attack, but also has Splash skill +3. (the same amount, maybe that's what confuses),  so if a trick/environment reduces the attack to 1 for example, he still has Splash 3.

It happened to me with Lightning Reed, i put a Fertilize ( +3 / +3 ) , and anxiously I waited for the Splash damage +3, but not, still do only 1 Splash Damage... It was very disappointing xD

instead, Threepeater pea plant, don't have splash, its ability: '' Attacks here and next door'' , so, if you put fertilizer, if the attack will increase in other lines.

Another thing to say, Splash Damage don't hurt the Hero...

About Astrocado I do not know what to tell you.

I have never seen it personally, but I have heard others mention the astrocado thing with planetary gladiators. It would be difficult for me to test, if you have a chance again with the astrocado damage, try taking a few screenshots of the moment and see if anything sticks

Another thing to consider, because I know that the cpu does some very questionable moves, when you say that no player would do that, well keep in mind they do not concede. And because of that, they have to assess all their moves and then usually go with something to do or prevent damage. I can't even count how many times on turn 2 they use two nibblers and are still at 20. I mean, why waste the 2 life gain, and twice yet...that's just losing card advantage over nothing. But they don't have the luxury to think the long game, and probably the reason why you see some ridiculous moves.

The AI itself is broken and not fun playing against. I don't know how  many times it has spawned 4 of the same cards in a row to win a game. If EA wants people using Random to keep playing and test decks then they need to fix it.

@alvivanco85 as others have mentioned, snap dragon has  "splash damage 3" not "attacks here and next door", so reducing it's attack only reducing it's damage in the lane it is in.

As for the planetary gladiator glitch, was the gladiator in the same lane as the astrocado? Because, in that scenario, there is a very weird interaction, that is technically not a glitch, and it involved the strikethrough ability in general.

If you have something taking damage for your hero, the damage technically hits that something(gladiator/soul patch, etc.) first, and then hits the hero, though it seems like it should hit both at the same time. Therefore, in this case, the gladiator would die to the 5 damage first, and then the 5 damage would also then damage you hero.
