I cannot really say for the original Garden Warfare, as I have not actually played it, or yet anyway as I will still probably try the game. I have seen gameplay and the maps look really decorative with their own nice touches.
I would probably prefer the map styles from Garden Warfare 2 the most. The Battle for Neighborville maps are fine, but could have been improved on. Some of the maps that were added later on during the game's life cycle before being cancelled were not loved by everyone in the community.
Oozevoir is Bfn's time park and tourist trap island is poor mans driftwood shores and it quickly abandons the actual tourist trap far too quickly with its four point structure alongside the 2nd and 3rd point blending together which once again compared to the rather distinctive areas of driftwood shores is pretty disappointing for a map that tries so hard to relive the glory of that map but missed the mark in almost every way.

Preserve Pastures is one of my favorite maps in BfN for that aesthetic. Considering the fact that one of the teams is literally plants, even if Crazy Dave mostly uses special greenhouses, farms had to be involved somewhere! The last point could use some tweaking, but it's one of BfN's better maps for sure.
