Because turning off sound completely is the same thing as muting characters. Im totally surprised that there is so little whine about all the gibberish that plants/zombies generate all the freaking time.
Using the "Communications" default does not mute all sound. Just communications. To be clear.
The in game setting does disable all sound though.
That may be a solution. But the problem is not me, are the other people that make noise and is very annoying.
This thread is actually about the character SFX, not the VOIP.
