I would not say that game is that much frustrating. Sure, there are some toxing things like AI(especially 80s) and randoms(usually in Giddy Park). Bumping into the same people over and over is a bit awkward. Steam blaster and BB are manageable, unless they sneak on you or flank. I am fine with sprinting, it means that I have the higher ground and makes people desire for retribution less. Haven't seen many problems with healing, mostly need to burst opponent with my team or go behind healers. I get stomped once in a while, usualy because we as a team are too out of sync. I am having fun playing random characters(since I've mastered all of them) with some fun setups like quick shuck shot corn or knockback all-star. Maybe I am just naturally calm.
Game certainly has stuff to fix, though. Battle arena, some upgrades(apart from legendary ones, there are things like dolphin blasting and uppercut which are pathetic). Tourist trap Island hasn't return yet. Monetization is surely terrible, in GW2 you could earn items from rux within few days of playing and now it will take several months just to get a costume(even more if you go for the discounted bundle) Prize map is fine but doesn't compensate for the lack of content.
I was participating in testing MMH7. Might and magic is excellent franchise with which I started my journey into PC gaming. And honestly, we don't have it that bad. Devs may act weird, but they haven't give up on game yet despite having a lot of problems. We can work with this.

I play mainly Turf Takeover too and here are my thoughts on the experience. (side note@Iron_Guard8 I think i have seen you in some lobbies before!)
I first want to categorize how the matches go in to 5 buckets
1) Zombies steamroll - typically has capable brainium basher and steamblaster these days but not necessary, and commonly includes (but definitely not limited to) a capable 80s, sniper/engineers in the back for pick or ground control, or rapid fire footsoldiers running around, with scientist supporting. Also noticing a comeback of loaded space stations with the crater maker upgrades. With these characters and teamwork/coordination - leads to a steamroll.2) Zombies perform slightly better - in between 1) and 3) for various reasons/factors in the lobby3) balanced - when both teams are organized, have strong team compositions and leads to great firefights at chokepoints, chaos on take-over spots, fast-paced overtime madness etc... Perhaps as a result both teams have multiple people getting 30+ and 40+ vanquishes by the end and there is a "clutch" win at the end.4) Plants perform slightly better - in between 3) and 5) for various reasons/factors in the lobby5) Plants steamroll - typically occurs when the zombies team is simply not as well organized, but also has some combination of chompers, peashooters, a capable Oak or Citron pocketed by a sunflower, or citrons absorbing firepower, and supplemented by rest of teamplayers successfully pushing forward the objective. Also, the design/layout of some maps favor plants - like peachy district finale, or preserve pastures finale but not really a steamroll if they zombies make it to the finales there...My favorite obviously is 3) balanced by the way I described it, however, these days I am seeing scenario 1) much too frequently because of how easy it is to get there in the current meta. I've been a part of a lot of 10 minute steamroll-to-the-finale matches. I miss the longer matches and love the ones that go for 20-25 minutes. Don't get me wrong, if the team is organized and the players are experienced - it can be a natural result and deserved too. However, when the lobbies finish with multiple zombies getting 30+ or 40+ vanquishes and the top plants player has like...10, 15 or maybe 20ish vanquishes - it feels bad when this happens regardless of which team I was on because of how frequently this scenario is happening. I don't know what the overall data show that Popcap probably knows, so this is just my experience and what I am seeing. The zombies team was already fully capable to play out scenario 1) PRIOR to the release of brainium basher and steamblaster because there was already strong characters in the zombie roster. Right now, it is simply way to easy to get Scenario 1 and it is not an enjoyable TT match regardless of which team I am on. Thanks for reading my venting 🙂- 5 years ago
I hate escapes and anything that increases TTK like overheal...this game would be greatly helped by making it impossible to get to full health without sunflower or scientist and big cool downs for escapes like warps, arcane enigma and disco warp.
I actually have no problem with rose now but disco and scientist are big problems.
