Why Biodome Botanist is so special?

According to the description, this card is ''rare'' and has a golden design... so i think is very important right? Can anyone tell what is the secret? 😃  , the first time i saw this card, i thought...

    Don't know that it's all that great.  However, I don't mind when a player plays a ton of low AP cards.  Minimal damage that I can soak up while having my block meter filled up gets me Superpowers with minimal trade off.  But yes, it can come back to bite you.  I have this card, but don't have it in my decks currently.  Think there are better ones out there.

After thinking a lot, I think it's a way to feed the new card ''Interstellar Bounty Hunter'', but, It's not so exciting ._.
