Why can we not cancel environment?

I'd like to have a couple different options, hopefully available to all, or at least most, heroes. Some could be a little more common; some a bit rarer. Perhaps something like:
Developer Zombie
(Picture: A fat, mustached zombie in a bulldozer)
Mustache Professional Zombie
6 Brains
4 Attack / 4 Health
When Played: Destroy all Environments in play.
He knows that sometimes you just gotta knock everything down and start all over.

Tree Plant
8 Sun
4 Attack / 4 Health
Armor 1
When Played: Do 4 damage to all other plants and zombies in ground lanes. Create a Scorched Earth here.
She's working on a fragrance she plans to release next month. She calls it, "Victory".

Barren Environment
This environment can not be replaced by another environment.
Nothing to see here. Move along.
I'm not sure about the costs and specific values, but something like those would be nice for more powerful effects.

Well. If this card is available really, although it does not destroy environments, it is better than now.
It targets an environment and bounces all plants on it right? if it were to target a lane and just bounce everything there this would be way way way to good
