I am just curious to why do people revive and why you like others to revive you? I see people all the time vanquished on the floor there for 10 seconds hoping to get revived. Or when your being shot ...

Makes them feel like they've accomplished something in life, I guess.
I always wait for the timer to run out in Zram Vanquish, as reviving denies the enemy team a point. I also wait to get revived if I'm playing as Iron Citron to keep my meter filled up. If I revive, I'm usually in Team Vanquish or I'm a Scientist/Sunflower, because it's a part of their job as (combat)medic.There are times to revive instantly and there are times where being revived would be huge. (EX: Usually you don't wait if you're playing defense on TT.)
Generally, I don't wait for a revive unless I'm playing Team Vanquish/Vanquish Confirmed - or if I know the team has a scientist or sunflower running around.
I only accept revives when is beneficial for both players. It is fundamental to know WHEN to revive someone and equally crucial to judge when to accept it, or it'll be a disaster and easy points/vanquishes for the enemy. Don't be afraid to turn down a revive if you consider it to be a bad a idea for simple courtesy, it may be ore significant than it seems.
In some modes revivings are more beneficial than in others and can drastically alter the final score;
