Why does everyone rush for the ice cream in boss hunt!

One thing that’s really annoying me is you cannot get to the ice cream first unless you are peashooter, which is annoying because most of the time I am a sunflower (because no one else has the common sense to). Everybody else rushes to it to do the ordinary ice cream when I just want to try out the enchanted one.
