@benn1nat0rThe community sadly focuses on the things that are most broken at the time but never look at the thing right behind it, especially during founders when Oak and nightcap were getting blasted all sides while superbrainz and space station never got hit as hard and people only acknowledged them after they nerfed the plants most powerful characters without buffing the weak ones like corn (he's still a shell of himself today).

Please write a reply there to support the thread, as EA support has been ignoring this issue.
Interestingly, after months of ignored bug reports, the old team member who replied to reports has returned, as well as a new one answering them as well. I hope the Sap Trap bug will finally be acknowledged

Surprising it has not been fixed yet. Hopefully this issue will still be looked at. I have supported that other thread, hoping others will as well.
@stukapooka , definitely. I'm a bit sick of that random sniper zoom bug that still happens at times, people hiding inside rocks and shooting, getting outside the map boundaries and sniping, and a bunch of other smaller issues.
Both Sap Traps are so unreliable. Some times they work just fine and other times they just don't work at all, or somewhere in between. Consistency would be appreciated.
@stukapooka Thanks for leaving a reply on the bug report 🙂. You're right, they have ignored many broken abilities, but Sap Tap is easily the most frustrating to me, as everyone cried how op it was until it was nerved. In the process, they broke it entirely. Then, they decided to buff everything in the game but Sap Trap and it was never fixed.
@Iron_Guard8 Sigh. The ability has so many problems, as you have mentioned. I'm even more mad the devs have told me to provide proof, which I wasted hours on, only for them to ignore my posts about it. They could have use said don't bother we won't fix it, but they deliberately chose to lie to me and waste my time. From what I can tell bug reports haven't been answered since December up until last Wednesday., They randomly answered 2 bug reports only to disappear again.

@benn1nat0r How could I forget the awful hit detection that protected how busted superbrainz was with just a secondary attack or engineer being a one man militia that made turning point one of the worst spawns in bfn.
@stukapooka , ugh. I really don't like engineer in BfN compared to their earlier incarnations since they are most powerful when just sitting back and spamming, and Turning Point is the worst example of that, especially when it's 2 or 3 engineers turret camping and using the upgrade that makes their projectiles bounce further.
@Iron_Guard8Yeah he really hurts the already strained map design by being a braindead spammer with a get out of jail free card ability set.
I feel like engineer was always underrated in the original 4 zombies as when gw1 released nobody really knew what he or scientist at the time did (all star was rare and you usually see only 2 in a game at most) or just how much money he got from building teleporters or hard countered chomper.
I'll always remember a 10 chomper ambush in suburban flats that only me as an engineer and a all star were able to escape when I first tried him. (They were all still on the road before the zombie team walked over them, I cant imagine the coordination it must have taken for the plants to pull it off).
