Hey @LookAlike_Pigeon,
We can't confirm anything, but I think it would be pretty neat!
I thoroughly enjoyed Battle for Neighborville and put a lot of hours into it, I'm hoping that there will be another one like it down the road.
We'll have to wait and see what happens, as the people that worked on Battle for Neighborville have been moved on to different EA titles.

I genuinely hope so. BfN had a very mixed reception, but I still have a lot of hours into it and enjoyed it. GW2 is my jam though and a new GW style game with some of the ideas of BfN included could be amazing.

I would hope so but realistically its a longshot.
Bfn flopped hard and the devs behind gw/bfn left over the course of bfn and the studio itself became motive vancouver from popcap Vancouver.
Popcap doesn't really communicate with the community either as stuff like the gw2 steam release came out of nowhere (though its a welcome suprise).
I would want a gw3 but it most likely won't happen or will be helmed by an entirely new team.

Hey all, will there be a PVZ FSP game, I can't say and don't have any info I can share in relation to if it will or will not happen.
What I can say is that we love to hear your feedback and we pass it on all the time.I still boot up all the games on a regular basis and it's likely I've taken many of you out and you've taken me out on the battlefield.
Hopefully, someday we will all be able to wage war in the eternal war between plants and their mortal enemies zombies once again.

I would still really like to see another shooter for Plants vs Zombies in the future. I do realise that Battle for Neighborville did not perform up to most players' expectations, however the other shooter games were successful and are still popular to this day. Even though all of the developers have left the studio and are working on other games and titles, there are still methods that EA could use to produce a new shooter. They could hire a new team of people to work on the game, get the PopCap studio that is working on the Plants vs Zombies mobile games or possibly even a different method I did not mention. The Plants vs Zombies shooters as a whole performed very well and lobbies are often populated, especially now with the release of Garden Warfare 2 on Steam bringing in even more new players, so I do not see why EA cannot try again with another shooter game. They can build up on the Garden Warfare games, add new content and make changes, and use features and mechanics in Battle for Neighborville that worked well. Hoping for a bright future for the franchise! 🤞

Indeed! The recent flood of players from Steam into GW2 demonstrates that even for a 6 year old game and a series currently not getting updates, these games are an absolute blast. There's so much to love here, and are currently the only multiplayer shooters I play anymore, but a new one would be the best situation.

Let's not beat around the bush, EA has made it clear that PvZ is dying inside and out, which is very sad to me, but the Shareholders do not care. PvZH suffered the same fate as the final shooter, but at least the shooter was transparent as said that there will be no more content updates. Popcap Vancouver is now converted into making a game that no one even remembers, skate or whatever the call it, so I doubt there will be any more shooters.

I don't know about you @iserz1002040 but Skate is one of the biggest franchises EA has and is regularly one of the most talked-about and loved game series around.

DarkoAnd good for them/it! Maybe Skate is EA's biggest franchise with so much cultivation and caress, but at the same time, why can't they put the same effort towards Plants Vs. Zombies....? Call me old fashioned but I prefer to put my money towards helping a game flourish then funding another FIFA.
End of the day, we are still alive (on life support), but how do we know that if PvZ3 fails it would spell A-X-E for Popcap?

Until such time as there is an official word on anything, I'd not write the possibility of a new game off @iserz1002040.
