And good for them/it! Maybe Skate is EA's biggest franchise with so much cultivation and caress, but at the same time, why can't they put the same effort towards Plants Vs. Zombies....? Call me old fashioned but I prefer to put my money towards helping a game flourish then funding another FIFA.
End of the day, we are still alive (on life support), but how do we know that if PvZ3 fails it would spell A-X-E for Popcap?
Until such time as there is an official word on anything, I'd not write the possibility of a new game off @iserz1002040.

We could use some good news for the franchise for sure, @EA_Darko . PvZ3 is getting a better reception that it had in its prior incarnation, but it still doesn't seem to be as loved as the original or PvZ2. BfN losing new content/support at the point it did meant we never got balanced teams (with the plants being 1 character behind), never got some of the lingering issues fixed, and never saw stuff like that frog reaction hat for the wizard or that everlasting crown we saw planned for but never realized in game.
Seeing GW2 pop up on Steam and getting an influx of new players, more than BfN from checking the charts, and that's with the hacker issue that GW2 has on PC, should speak volumes. The fact that an 6 year old game that hasn't had an update in 3-4 years can get new folks playing practically shouts that we need a new game.
