Will this work?

So, im trying a new strategy. According to this strategy , i play the disco tron 3000 and the flamenco zombie and in the next turn, i play mixed up gravedigger so flamenco will damage the plant hero again. What do you think?

  • I like where your head is at, but these are the potential problems I see.

    1. It's a very late game play. Disco costs six, flamenco costs five. That's turn 11.

    2. At that point, all Lanes are full and since none of them are amphibious, you won't be able to play grave digger without one of them being removed.

    3. Placement is tricky. Remember that disco will recreate it's two minions when it comes out from that gravestone.... Not super huge if you can find a way to get Gravedigger in there, but just remember you'll want flamenco in lane 4, which can be messed up based on the plants on the board. If lane four has a plant that will kill flamenco, the plan is shot.

    4. Removal, you'll need it. As a matter of fact, when running a long game strat like this, it's better to run a control deck. (And there are more effective long game stats for the cost)

    5. Card draw. You need it.
  • Well actually, its turn 8 not 11. I play the disco first, next turn (or in turn 5 if i can keep him alive with a gravestone) i play flamenco and after those comes the gravedigger. So it comes in to play either in turn 7 or 8. Till then i just block things.

Do you have any Disco-nauts, Aerobics Instructor or Cosmic Dancers?  Some removals would be beneficial.  I don't think Headstone Carver will benefit you too much.  Or Tennis Champ (I will sometimes let them hit me with the 4 AP, then I know they sit there with 1 AP for the rest of the time). As @daalnnii says, I think you are playing up to a specific outcome to win, where having more versatility in your deck would increase odds of winning.

Even though I still haven't pulled a dang mixedup gravedigger, I can tell you that key strategy for them in your deck are cards with the "when played" ability, so you double up on or more with some of the abilities like pogo bouncer or flamenco zombie but one problem with that is if you get the flamenco first that is only two damage for all those dancers to set it up.
Thats the same reason why headstone carver is no use. More often than not he will come out last and be wasted.

Graveyard environment would be better if you want to still go that route, but keep in mind that everything resets when they go into the gravestone...bonuses are wiped away just as is damage

Yes i did switch the carvers. And i can also use MUG just to boost unlife of the party if anything goes wrong. I mean, i can play 2 zombies in 2 lanes in turn 5, and next turn i can play MUG and unlife of the party right after it. So he basiclly gets buffed with 3 stats or 4 if i play a zombie in the water lane.
