@asabaida Popcap shouldnt be adopting this grindy freemium system like what you would see in battle royales. It doesnt make players feel good when we paid money for the actual game, and then have to pay more money for more cosmetics, or grind for days to get cool stuff. There are plenty of multiplayer games with better alternative economies.
I understand that Rainbow stars are a premium currency, so it makes sense that Popcap won't let us get too many from grinding, as that would break it.
I still really dont care for the Rewardotron, and as much as I want it to be filled so I can pay 30000 coins for an item, not sure if Popcap will do it. It always felt like a temporary feature to me.
Popcap should at least charge Rux items for coins as an alternative to using Rainbow stars. Ideally, I would want these to be cheap, but Rux items are obviously premium stuff, so I doubt buying with Coins will be cheap at all. But at least the playerbase can have a better chance of getting cool items!
@Pheesley I agree. Pay to be a founding member of BFN and ride it out through its beginning stages only to be asked to pay again for a character is a joke. Even more so frustrating when you realize that EA gives the game free to anyone who has there monthly subscribe service. EA most definitely dropped the ball and burned a lot of bridges with some of their most loyal fanbase with these antics.
All I know is that after playing against @Iron_Guard8 is I passionately hate that temp invincibility spell that protects the rider...must have got me killed like three times. I would leap out with a surprise gatling attack as peashooter then get the bad news that my gatling wasn't doing damage. I'm sure I'll get used to it but way more wizards with every passing day...getting annoying.
A single Zee-lixir isn't a huge deal as the effect on zombies is only 1.5 seconds long. It's when several wizards use them in quick succession that it becomes a serious issue. A wizard riding a wizard and them using their zee-lixirs one after the other can make that last 3 seconds and more can extend this further. The cooldown is 20 seconds I think (can't confirm right now) so it's throwing all your eggs in one basket but it can certainly work at a key moment
They may need to add a kind of debuff where you can't be affected by more than 1 in a 10 second period or something like that, and perhaps it shouldn't be such a cure all like it is now.
