Wizard Will Ruin Battle Arena
We desperately need a counter for Wizard in Battle Arena and that’s my sole reason for writing this post.
I only played Wizard for a few minutes late last night but it seems like attaching the Wizard to an ally’s head will enable him to see enemies through the map (as if Butter Beacon was showing colored silhouettes). I attached myself to a Heal Station last night (in Ops) and could see enemies through walls.
Haven’t mastered the character yet but understand there’s an upgrade that will disable revives, too?
One ability does an AoE attack that deals 80 damage to everything nearby. Equip the non-revive upgrade to that ability and you can literally win a round in BA with one press of the button. Oh - and the ability CAN be casted from ally’s head.
Primary fire is a delayed hitscan type of damage that does 22 HP per shot.
One ability can be shot to stop enemies from sprinting and jumping. I think this same ability will heal allies but not certain.
One upgrade gives armor to allies reviving you.
.... and I haven’t even mastered this character. Can’t imagine all the upgrades and how imbalanced this character will make BA (nevermind the fact it’s an extra character to choose from; the Zombie faction is already stronger than Plants).
This implementation of Wizard boggles my mind.
