world options error

I also have this issue on the ps4. On my ps home screen I can see numerous friends playing on pvz gw2 and on the world options it shows no joinable friends all the time.
I am unable to visit backyard battleground of friends to do infinity etc without going through the invite process.

Hi. I contacted ea who advised that the error could be due to the amount of people on my friends list and was told to delete some and see if that worked.
I deleted some friends as I had quite a few and now the world options works a treat.
