Where's the Petrified Cactus on this list?
@agentevil007 why should he be on that list? Petrified Cacti is pretty good actually, slow shot but decent DMG and good splash, 150 life more life than the normal cactis, in close range I still prefer bandid cacti but petri is also an option. The worst cacti for me is the ice cacti, no DMG, long reload time, no freeze at all, the only good thing is more ammo but in general ice cacti is one of the weakest plants.
For me the worst is Rose, all of them! Most of them are extremly strong, normal rose and druid rose do massiv dmg, but I hate playing them and playing against them. Spam abilities, auto aim, immortality, this character is just not fun at all in any point. Just holding the left mouse button, thats all you have to do since end of the beta. This character also has the most annoying special in the game: goatify. When you get goatified in close range you are 90% dead. Its probably because I love close range challenges, scientist and chomper are my favs in GW1 but now no just no. With rose you just have to goatify someone, then the stun, after that the match is over...whohoooo! In strengh, ice rose is pretty much the weakest, low ammo, you have to click, long charging time, freez is almost as bad as ice cacti (I dont have the ice upgrade for her).
The worst zombie is party brainz, theres nothing to say about him, he is just bad. Then its Tank commander, yes I loved him back in GW1, but now hes not that good at all. He got nerfed for no reason, the maps are wide open, a single shot is not helpful even with those 2 reload upgrades. You still can play him, but hes bad at capturing the garden, bad at bombing areas and bad in close range, any pea, citron, corn, rose, chomper can overwhelm him easy.
- Petrified cactus is actually really good. I hear what your saying, I use to say the same thing. Just put more time in and grind it out. A lot of people don't like the ice cactus, I think he's one of the best ones. Especially with his upgrades. Critical hits are everything with him. No he's not the best if your just sitting back, but as far as a balance between long and short range, he's right where he needs to be. I'm assuming you guys played GW1 where cactus class was easier to manage, I get it, but they do have a place in GW2, just need to be a little more mobile. I would love nothing more than to see the citrus cactus back. He was great in the 1st one, and would be well suited for GW2
I've just finished promoting Tank Commander to Master...
Even with the 2 reload upgrades and 1 damage upgrade he is still comparably weak to other Foot Soldier variants. Isn't the entire point of the Foot Soldier class to be frontline damage dealers? Tank Commander's TTK (with upgrades) is still a fair amount lower than most (all?) FS variants. Plus he requires more accuracy from the player.
I've suggested before to buff default reload times to help make him more viable. Now that I think about it, higher HP would probably be a good move as well, considering how long his reloads take.
Where is chompthing? He has his very low damage, lower than toxic chomper. And also his low health makes his heal ability useless.

Let me explain my reasoning behind why Toxic Chomper is on my list over Chomp Thing.
First, you're wrong. Toxic Chomper deals 6 damage, Chomp Thing deals 7.5 AND gets a damage upgrade. Sure, you can say that the Toxic effect can result in more damage, but Chomp Thing's breath is more powerful.
Next, Toxic Chomper overheats faster than Chomp Thing. Toxic overheats after 3 seconds (4.5 seconds with overheat upgrade) of constant attacking, and Chomp Thing overheats after 4 seconds (5 seconds with overheat upgrade) of constant attacking.
Chomp Thing also recovers from an overheat faster than Toxic Chomper does. Chomp Thing recovers after 2 seconds, Toxic recovers after 2.5 seconds.
Sure, you can say that Chomp Thing has less health, but it's his faster regeneration that makes him so good. Chomp Thing (as with most Chompers) is best at taking Zombies that stray from the group, you're not going to do well trying to combat multiple enemies at once.
Your goal as Chomp Thing (as it should be with any other Chomper) is to be sneaky. You can pick off an unsuspecting target with ease, or single out one target with your goop. Should your health get low, you have many options. You can use burrow to make a retreat, you can stay still with burrow and restore your health, or simply try and run away for long enough so that your health goes back up.
Chomp Thing is by no means as useless or weak as some people make him out to be, but nevertheless, he still needs buffing all the same as Toxic.
