I just got this game for my son for Christmas. I can overlook the fact that I had to do some stupid update on a game I just bought, but it WILL NOT let me past the EA login screen. It keeps telling we cannot complete the action as this time. I just want my son to be able to play this game, but I’m about to break it. Please help!!

He does not have an EA account so I was using mine. His Xbox account is a child’s account, which I upped to 18 for content and it still won’t let me login as him. If I do it under my Xbox login and EA account it’s not a problem.
I am wondering how this is going to work should we choose to though. I guess we’ll have to figure it out. Worst case scenario I create a new Xbox account for him as an adult account. This just seems super ridonculous as this game said it’s for Everyone 10+ and he had access for 13+ prior to this.
I'm in exactly the same boat as you. My son has a child account under mine for Xbox Live (without Gold). I attempted to log into my EA account as him with no luck. If I switch over to my account on his Xbox, I'm able to log in and bypass everything without issue.
I've even gone as far to create an EA account for him and have attempted to log in using his EA credentials without any success.
Does your child have Gold access? Maybe it's tied to that even though they say the game doesn't require Gold?
All in all, this is super frustrating as his sister bought him this as a Christmas gift and now he/they can't even play it. There's nothing anywhere in these support forums that I've been able to find as an answer and I'd really not rather have to put Gold on his account yet...
