I see a lot of players whining that the Yeti & Dandelion drones of the new characters need a nerf because of instant kills.And i know many dislike it but i think they should be kept the same.My main question is why don't these new characters deserve an instant kill ability? There a much stronger characters in the game that also have an instant kill ability so i really think its justified for the TV head and Wildflower to also have one. Especially since they are low on health.Another thing is that its really funny to try and vanquish someone with these minions. If you can only use them to do a little bit of damage then what's the use?I really hope they are being kept as they are now because i think they are a fun and cool addition to neighborville. And just because of one Superbrains using the Brain basher got killed by a dandelion doesn't make it overpowered. It just makes it more strategic to play with. Curious how other players think of this.

@MrKritiek Because it is basically a Peashooter Beam Bomb that is controllable and has broken upgrades attached to it, and it doesn't fit the Swarm role at all.Just to remind: Dandelion has an double explosion bug, if you tap the explosion button more than one time, he deals more than 250 damage.This things are annoying and op, this needs a nerf.

I get really frustrated when I get killed by these drones because I'm usually with full hp and I don't see them coming. I was playing sunflower yesterday in the event and it was impossible to play. Unlike most instakill abilities, these drones don't make any sound, explode and always deals the max damange AND you can fully control it. Yes, they do have "low hp" but they're so fast to use and they move so freely it's almost impossible to escape. Borrow you can escape by jumping to some high place, super ultra ball and zpg will most likely just deal splash damange because they're "precise", fung fu, impkata and rocket ride you can escape since they don't deal full damange imediatly and chilly bomb and imp throw you can hear them coming. Again, these drones are intant, silent, mobile, deals a lot of damange and are hard to destroy (my little yeti has 30 hp). Something needs to be nerfed.

@MrKritiek I agree with the base Yeti and Dandelion not needing a nerf. In my opinion, they are really fair without any upgrades.I believe that the main issue with these abilities is the upgrades and spammability of it. I think that this is an example of a flaw in BFN, the upgrades.The upgrades that make certain abilities cheap like No Fail pail/Head Pot-tection and the speed upgrade for Dandelion and Yeti are not fundamentally balanced. There should be a small downside with these two abilities.Firstly, have No Fail Pail/Head Pot-tection give lower the damage for both the Wildflower and TV Head, and the explosive abilities. The Explosive abilities would go from 125 damage down to 75, but their health would be increased to 40-45 to compensate. This would make it so these abilities are better for scouting and getting burst damage in so you or your teammates could make a push or get the kill. Wildflower and TV Head would only get 1-2 less damage to their primary. This upgrade would better designed for a pseudo tank/defensive role, allowing these new characters to act like a flex character from other games such as r6 (Rainbow Six Siege) with more variation in playstyle.Secondly, the speed upgrade for the Yeti and Dandelion. This does need a downside. I believe that for the speed increase, the Yeti and Dandelion should have 10-15 less health (and with Head Pot-tection and No Fail Pail, 20-25 less health) and has an increased consumption rate. This would make this ability much more suited for damage in more close quarters areas, but much worse at mid to long range. It would also make it so the range is pretty limited. Additionally, there would be a fair amount of counter play as it is much weaker health-wise compared to other build variations.The Final thing to mention is the spammability. The only real solution is to increase the cooldown time, but right now I believe if the devs change the upgrades similar to what I just mentioned, then they most likely won't have to change the cooldown.

Drones can be fixed by nerfing their upgrades a bit(without upgrades they are ok, somewhat underpowered) and boosting their sound cues(because they are too stealthy).

Yeti & Dandelion don't need a nerf.

When you compare this ability to others like Pea Gatling and Chili Bean Bomb, I would want these to have a buff. Perhaps the developers could even get away with giving it a damage buff. However, perhaps they should have a damage range. If you were close enough to an opponent and damage them with the drones, you will deal maximum. A bit further away, it would just deal a minor amount of splash damage. Even further away, well none I suppose.

I think they are fine but yeah they need some kind of chomper sound so you know they are coming...that's pretty standard for every chars ability to give some chance of defending. I also think there should be a small delay to deploy them like acorn to oak as I can regularly jump into the middle of fights and deploy it before people can react.

@MrKritiek The drones are just cheap vanquishes since they are pretty fast. Plus, have you seen the speed upgrades for them? Its impossible to escape a drone eighths upgrade. The damage done is too much for something is actually easier to use then it looks. There's also a lack of delay when spawning one so you can just go behind a corner when you're getting g chased and get a free vanquish.

@MrKritiek Drones are too silent and quick to justify the damage they deal and how spammable they are. Tune the damage from 125 to 100 and add a few more seconds to their cooldown and I’d say they’re golden.
