The mic thing is virtually not an issue. Stop being lazy and just get a 3rd party program yourselves.
PopCap hasn't even patched anything yet. Calm down.
Plus, it's 24 HOURS, as stated here: http://help.ea.com/en/article/returns-and-cancellations/
By now, you cannot ask for a refund.
